The Latest from Indianapolis Outdoor BMX

There is a revival of sorts happening in Indianapolis at the Lake Sullivan BMX track. Dean Kincaid is organizing a fact finding mission to see about getting Indy Outdoor up and running for the 2009 summer season.  Dean has stepped up and agreed to be "The Man" that steers the bus in the right direction and he needs a strong show of support to see what kind of interest he can generate.  Lake Sullivan is an awesome facility that has been sitting dormant for a few years, lets show Dean some support by helping out.

We are now at the point when we need to sit down and "hammer out" the organizational structure of our group.  I think it would be best to get this done quickly to facilitate communication between all members.  I would like to know if we can get a good gathering this Saturday, Oct 4th.  We would most likely meet at the velodrome.  All interested in serving on the board of directors or holding an office should certainly try to attend.  I know it is short notice, but the weekend after this is the Hoosier Nats/Regional Championship at Evansville.  If we cannot meet this weekend, then we would need to wait another week.  So give me some feedback!  I know we won't be able to get everyone, but hopefully we can get 80% of those wishing to hold a board or office position.  So let me know two things:

1. Are you interested in an organizational position.

2. Can you meet this Saturday.
